Hardwork and Perseverance My Own Recipe to Success (My Educational Goal and Motivation in Attending College)

I genuinely believe that good education is the bottom line in order to get ahead in this competitive and technologically advanced world.

Many people believe that a Tibetan girl like me from a small town in India would not have a perfect place in todays world wherein competition is indeed the name of the game. Ever since I stepped in the land of America, I found myself struggling hard just to maintain success socially and academically. The fact that I cannot be competitive like the others since I am a foreigner keeps on blocking my abilities and skills to make a difference in my own field.

Nevertheless, as I cross my way to the realization of my ultimate dreams, it just came to my mind that I can contribute more to this country and to my own country as well through the acquisition of good education. Though I have not received many opportunities in life, I am certain that I can make the best of all of them. I have come to a point in life that many people have not. I have made a firm decision to recommit myself to pursuing my dreams.

While there are many people who believe that success is tantamount to an ounce of luck and a ton of persistence, I genuinely believe that there is no reason to expend so much energy and rely merely on luck. I believe in taking hold of my destiny and carving out a future for myself based on the decisions that I make in life. Life is simply too short and too precious to be left to luck alone.

Eventhough I am ethnically Tibetan and raise up in foreign country as a second class citizen, I am always motivated to do better in all aspects of my life. Through my experience, it was proven that everything a person has in life must come from hard work and perseverance.

I also believe in charity. I believe in helping others who do not have much in life. I believe in helping people regardless of their nation, race or creed. I believe that being a better person can really make a big difference. And I do believe and feel that education is the key to turn these beliefs into realities.
This is thus the reason why I am still struggling in order for me to get good education eventhough there are so many distractions which come along my way. I know that through proper education, I can make all my dreams come true and eventually reach the pedestal of success in the future.
