Out, Out Robert Frost

The tragedy in Robert Frosts poem comes from the following lines His sister stood beside them in her apron to tell them Supper. At the word, the saw, as if to prove saws knew what supper meant, leaped out at the boys hand, or seemed to leap He must have given the hand. However it was, neither refused the meeting. But the hand The boys first outcry was a rueful laugh, as he swung toward them holding up the hand half in appeal, but half as if to keep the life from spilling. It shows that he lost his hand or rather nearly cut off his hand after the saw leaped from his hand. But on what I can see, the boy craves for rest even for half an hour just as these lines present  Call it a day, I wish they might have said to please the boy by giving him the half hour that a boy counts so much when saved from work.  Well, with that the boy seemed be overworked for that day or hungry at the same time since the time for supper came while he was still working. Due to fatigue, he mishandled the saw and got into an accident and resulted into cutting his hand as was seen in the earlier statements and unfortunately he died later on as these lines suggest The doctor put him in the dark of ether. He lay and puffed his lips out with his breath. and thenthe watcher at his pulse took fright. No one believed. They listened at his heart. Littlelessnothingand that ended it. No more to build on there. And they, since they were not the one dead, turned to their affairs.

From what Ive observed, one of the moral lessons for this poem would be people need to rest. As for the poem, boys should get more rest. Even machines today should not be overworked to avoid malfunctioning. Putting into analogy, with muscle fatigue, his hand malfunctioned. There was lack of energy for him to continue the work. He needed food. He needed rest.

In addition to filling the inevitable need of people to have rest, another lesson would be to put safety first before anything else. The boy might have gotten excited after hearing his sisters call for supper. Lastly, the main moral lesson of this story is that, let boys be boys. Let the kids play not do a mans work. If they did not let the boy do a mans work  maybe should have been his fathers job. He might not have died. Life is very special. Let the kids enjoy with their lives.
