Compare how each group dealt with ONE SPECIFIC TOPIC
Starting with the beliefs put forward by the Suns of Volcan tribe we get an idea of how they have gone into a detailed description of their religious and spiritual beliefs. They consider Sun to be their supreme god and for them heaven is their Sun. They believe that only their good warriors go to heaven. As for the others, the belief is that they just die. The Suns of Volcan tribe does not have morals. They only have war and killing. Thus it can be seen that they have laid down a few decrees but have not quite explained the logic behind these decrees.
As far the Penguin tribe goes, their religion and spirituality revolves around just one thing the worship of penguins. They do not have any other religious law laid down. Even for the only law that is laid down they do not have an explanation as to why they worship in penguins or how the belief originated.
In the Wolf Totem tribe, the tradition is to believe in the power of wolves as god. Wolves are who they worship. And it is their Wolf God who decides the one to lead them. Ordinary men themselves have no say in the selection of the leaders. It is plausible to believe that beyond this they do not have any restrictions in terms of their religion.
Then there is the Resistance tribe, the religious and spiritual beliefs of which found acceptance even among the members of the other tribes. One possible reason for their acceptance could be the inherent simplicity on which their religion and spirituality is based. They consider the elements to be the very foundations of life. This is what lies beneath their custom of worshipping the four elements Water, Fire, Earth and Air. Keeping with the basic simplicity in their principles they do not have any restrictions or a list of dos and donts as far their religion is concerned.
A look at the approaches taken by each tribe in deciding their own religious beliefs makes it clear that the decisions regarding their religion or any other topic in general depends on the basic principles that drive the respective tribes. Consider for example, the Suns of Volcan tribe, which considers war and killing to be extremely important and this reflects in their decisions regarding every aspect of their life. On the other hand there is the Resistance tribe which believes in the four elements being the foundation of life and the importance of the four elements become clear in their life. It is therefore reasonable to equate the various customs, beliefs and actions of any tribe with their basic principles of life.
